The former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has said for Africa to develop there is need for countries in the continent to collaborate and work together.
According to information made available to IGBERE TV, he stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the newly elected president of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio at the state house, Freetown.

Orji Kalu who congratulated the President on his election said Nigeria and Sierra Leone have a history of friendship that has spanned decades enjoined the Sierra Leonian leader to build on it.
The international businessman called on African countries to leverage on the large markets available in Africa by promoting intra-African trade, a development he said will boost the economy of African countries.
He advised the President to focus on policies and projects that will improve the lives of the people of Sierra Leone.
While welcoming the former Governor, President Bio said Sierra Leone remains grateful to Nigeria for her age long support especially during the turbulent years.
He promised that under his watch the relationship between the two countries will get stronger.
