Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has announced the launch of a new security outfit named “Neighborhood Watch.”
The establishment of the security outfit was confirmed by the governor’s social media aide, Salisu Yahaya Hotoro, through a statement posted on his verified Facebook page.
According to the statement, the government “remains steadfast in its efforts to initiate and implement policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of Kano State citizens.”
Other bills accented to include the Kano State Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (Amendment) Law, 2025, and the Kano State Centre for Disease Control and Prevention Law, 2025.
