A Renowned Ebonyi fashion entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of Papearl Fashion Academy, Mrs. Akah Prayer Excel, has commenced a one-week intensive Corset Master Class in Ebonyi State, drawing fashion designers from different parts of Nigeria.
The training programme, which kicked off yesterday, comes shortly after Mrs. Akah returned from a one-month international programme in Uganda held in partnership with the United Nations.
The master class is designed to equip fashion designers with advanced corset-making skills, one of the most sought-after areas in the fashion industry. Participants from various states have converged on Ebonyi to take advantage of what many described as a rare and life-changing learning opportunity.
Speaking on the initiative, Mrs. Akah emphasized the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and skills development in building a globally competitive fashion industry.
She noted that the programme is aimed at empowering both emerging and established designers with modern techniques that will enhance their creativity and increase their earning potential.
The training has been widely applauded by participants and stakeholders in the fashion industry, who described the initiative as a major boost to the growth of fashion entrepreneurship in Ebonyi State and beyond.
The one-week Corset Master Class is expected to produce a new crop of highly skilled designers capable of competing on both national and international platforms.
