The management of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, has fulfilled its promise to honour its immediate past Acting Rector, Engr. Mrs. Chidinma Martha Ndukwe, by naming its newly retrofitted auditorium after her.

The promise was made on August 11, 2026, during a retirement reception held in her honour, and has now been fulfilled with the official naming of the auditorium.
According to the institution, the auditorium now bears her name in recognition of her dedicated service and contributions to the growth of the Polytechnic, preserving her legacy in the history of the institution.
Engr. Mrs. Ndukwe served as Acting Rector of the Polytechnic and is credited with several reforms and infrastructural improvements during her tenure.

The management said the gesture is in line with its commitment to celebrating excellence and honouring those who have served the institution meritoriously.
