An activist an whistleblower, Nze Godwin Ebubeagu Ekenulo, has strongly advised the Federal government of Nigeria, to jettison the idea of the AstraZeneca Vaccine being distributed to the various states of the federation.
He made this disclosure to IgbereTv during an interactive session with pressmen in Owerri.
Ekenulo, the CEO of SaveImo, a whistleblowing and blogging platform, said that going by the reactions from the vaccine, it is not yet ascertained to be healthy for Nigerians.
“The AstraZeneca Vaccine is reactive to the body. Alot of fall-outs are coming from the administering of the doses. Let the Federal government put it on hold for now till there is more clinical examination.”
It is instructive to note that Germany is the latest country in the world to reject the Oxford based vaccine.
In all, about eleven countries have openly rejected the vaccine and they include the Scandinavian countries as well as others.
