A land dispute between two families led to two corpses being exhumed three weeks after they were buried.
The corpses exhumed in Isiozi Umuaka, Imo state, are those of a mother and her daughter-in-law who died 6 and 4 years ago respectively.
The dead could not be laid to rest after their death as there was no place to bury them due to the lingering land dispute.
They were eventually buried on the land under dispute three weeks ago but this caused displeasure to the other family as the case is still in court.
The dispute took a turn for the worse on Tuesday, September 24 when both corpses were dug out from the land by the other family and deposited at Nwankwoikpa market square in Imo state.
