The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), HRM King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has facilitated another major investment opportunity for Abia State by leading a delegation of foreign pharmaceutical investors from Utopia Pharmaceutical to Governor Alex Otti at the Government House, Umuahia.

During the meeting, Governor Otti approved the donation of land, free of charge, for the establishment of a pharmaceutical manufacturing factory in Abia State, a development expected to boost industrialisation and create employment opportunities for thousands of residents.
In a statement after the meeting, King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere commended Governor Otti for his swift response to the investment proposal.
According to him, the governor immediately placed a call to the Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in the presence of the delegation to facilitate the investment process.
> “Thank you, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, for donating land free of charge to Utopia Pharmaceutical to build their drug production factory in Abia State. Our action governor instantly, in the presence of everyone, put a call to the NAFDAC Director-General. This shows a leader who truly loves the development of Abia State,” Chinyere said.
The cleric noted that the proposed factory would create massive employment opportunities for Abians while positioning the state as a pharmaceutical manufacturing hub capable of producing finished medicines for both local consumption and export.
King Apostle Chibuzor also disclosed that Utopia Pharmaceutical has introduced another investment initiative aimed at helping to eradicate malaria in Abia State.
According to him, the company plans to commence a free pilot programme in Aba within the next two weeks. He explained that the state government would evaluate the outcome of the pilot before deciding on a possible statewide rollout.
He added that the malaria intervention has reportedly achieved remarkable success in several other countries and expressed optimism that Abia could become a model for malaria control in Nigeria.
“Many countries that Nigeria is better than are no longer talking about malaria. It is sad that Nigeria is still battling the disease. We believe this initiative can help change that narrative,” Chinyere stated.
The visit underscores King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere’s continued efforts to attract international partnerships and development projects to Nigeria, while reinforcing the Abia State Government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for investors.
“All glory be to God,” the OPM founder concluded.
