Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, on Thursday, paid a visit to the family of late Chimaobi Uzoukwa who was shot dead by a soldier in Aba, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV had reported that Uzoukwa, a ‘Keke’ driver, was killed by soldiers stationed in the Ogborhill axis of Aba for allegedly failing to give N100 bribe.
Already, the Nigerian Army (NA) has arrested the killer solider who shot and killed the motorcyclist, even though the NA earlier denied the involvement of its men.

The solider identified simply as Aliyu was arrested alongside two other of his colleagues who were at the checkpoint when the incident took place.
Governor Ikpeazu, during the visit, promised to take care of the welfare of the deceased’ infant children and the immediate family.
