The communion of Igbo Bishops Worldwide has declared support and endorsed Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah’s candidacy for Abia Governorship election come 2nd March 2019, Igbere TV reports.
In a press release sent to Igbere Tv, signed by the International President, Archbishop Sylvanus Ofili and the National Secretary, Bishop Barr. Ernest Maduekeh, the group, “after due deliberation, finds Dr. Ogah’s antecedents very impressive in humanitarian services, competence and sound pedigree” and added that heaven has rejected Gov. Ikpeazu for his blatant disobedience to the voice of God.
“We strongly believe and pray that Almighty Father in Heaven will enable you to answer this clarion call to serve the people of Abia State and rebuild her dilapidated walls. We have ordered our large community in Abia to ensure you are voted in come 2nd March, 2019. We wish to state categorically that we are not partisan but supporting your person.” It concluded.
