Early Report reaching IGBERE TV says supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are already celebrating following a slight Victory at various polling units.
The PDP supporters are currently converging at the state headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo, to celebrate what may be described as “victory” ahead of the official announcement by the body.
The whole atmosphere is filled w an echoes of victory, such as ‘ose ose o, ose o, ose baba’ (meaning ‘thank you, thank you, thank you, father’), the supporters danced from side to side lined up on the streets while security officials watched from afar
According to results of the 19 local governments announced so far by INEC, Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), boasts a slight lead over Isiaka Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
