There was panic in Borno state yesterday when a Soldier went berserk shooting sporadically at anything and anyone in sight. At the end of the madness, atleast 2 people were dead, and many others injured.
The soldier allegedly killed sergeant colleague and woman who was reportedly hit by stray bullets in the random shooting.

IGBERE TV correspondent reports that the soldier has since been arrested for the act. It was however not immediately clear why the soldier allegedly carried out the shooting but the military authorities have commenced investigation into the incident.
Eyewitnesses said three soldiers were also seriously wounded in the shooting.
