At least 10 people have been killed after an explosion on the Saint Petersburg subway network.
Another 50 people have been injured following at least one blast that is reported to have involved a shrapnel-filled device.
Pictures posted on social media show the door of a Metro train has been blown out in a blast. Other images showed passengers lying on the ground of a station platform in the Russian city.
The blast is believed to have affected at least two carriages of one train. Unconfirmed reports suggest there was a second blast, but it is unclear if this relates to the same train.
