Bolatito Shobowale, the chairman of the Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area of Lagos State is dead.
It was gathered that Shobowale died after a prolonged illness.. 
Confirming her death, the acting chairman of the LCDA, Ladi Oluwaloni, in a tribute on Friday, March 21, said the news of her passing is shocking.
Recall that Oluwaloni was sworn in as the acting chairman of the LCDA a few days ago by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
His swearing-in followed the prolonged ill health of Shobowale which kept her away from her duties.
According to Oluwaloni, the late chairman left a legacy of selfless service to the people of Ayobo-Ipaja with her commitment to good governance.
Praying for the repose of her soul and for God to comfort the members of the late chairman’s family, Oluwaloni said Shobowale was a visionary leader who played a key role in the transformation of the LCDA.
He said, “As we bid farewell to this remarkable leader, we take solace in the fact that her impact will live on in the hearts and lives of those she served.
“May the Almighty grant her eternal rest and give us the strength to uphold the values she stood for,” he added.
