That new direction is embodied in Dr. Darlington Nnabugo Ofor.
A distinguished administrator, accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist, and visionary leader, Dr. Ofor represents competence, integrity, innovation, and people-driven governance.
Born on December 10, 1973, into the respected family of Late Prince and Mrs. Darlington Chukwudi Ofor of Obe Community in Nkanu West Local Government Area, Dr. Ofor’s life journey reflects discipline, excellence, humility, and service to humanity.
From WTC Primary School to Uwani Secondary School, Enugu, and later the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), where he earned a degree in Public Administration, Dr. Ofor distinguished himself as a man committed to personal growth and societal advancement.
His quest for knowledge and leadership development further took him to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, before earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Logistics and Transport Management from the University of Port Harcourt in 2024.
But beyond academic accomplishments lies a greater story — the story of impact.
As the founder of Orava Nigeria Ltd, a major player in the marine logistics and shipping sector, established in 2008, Dr. Ofor has spent nearly two decades building businesses, creating opportunities, empowering professionals, and contributing significantly to Nigeria’s economy through logistics, oil and gas, insurance, finance, and strategic enterprise development.
His exceptional leadership profile also earned him recognition as the former Deputy President of the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria (CIOTA), where he contributed immensely to policy advocacy, institutional reforms, and professional development within Nigeria’s transport sector.
Yet, what truly sets Dr. Darlington Ofor apart is not merely his credentials, but his passion for people.
Through the Noble Goal Foundation, established in 2018, he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to humanitarian service by:

• Empowering thousands of youths through ICT and entrepreneurship training
