Two years ago, the queen of Ponzi schemes, Amanda Chisom, lured many innocent retail investors into a scheme known as a ponzi scheme.
People lost their life savings.
Let me digress.
Last October, Kim Kardishan was charged in court for promoting a scam to her followers in the name of an investment.
She was forced to pay $1.2 million to the victims of the failed Ponzi scheme as restitution by the court.
The same thing Kim did is what Amanda did, using their influence as influencers to promote a scam, but because this is Nigeria, she has been allowed to walk around as a free woman, giving her more room to promote more Ponzi schemes.
A Ponzi scheme is evil.
I have seen the effect on victims.
From Amaka Ezechiedo, who invested 5 million of her business capital because she believed Amanda Chisom,
To a 60-year-old school teacher, Ifeoma, who invested her life savings and gratuity in the failed Ponzi scheme that Amanda promoted, to Nnamdi, a trader who invested 10 million of his business capital,
The heartbreaking stories of victims who invested their life savings because they trusted her are many, and it is an aberration that Amanda, the Ponzi queen, is a free woman to date.
By God’s grace, I will be leading a new campaign to see that the global face of Ponzi schemes, Amanda Chisom, serves her time in prison and, more importantly, pays restitution to the victims whom she scammed with her younger brother Chinedu.
God help me.
