In a recent encounter at Imo State University (IMSU), students voiced their concerns during a meeting with the state governor, Hope Uzodinma.
The state governor, along with his team, made a visit to the university in preparation for the upcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for Saturday, November 11.
The primary purpose of the governor’s visit was to engage with the student body and seek their support through vote canvassing. However, during the meeting, some students took the opportunity to express their concerns by chanting “Imo light.”
Their passionate chants continued as they vocalized their discontent with the state’s electricity situation, repeatedly shouting “No light” for a period before eventually responding to calls for restraint.
