Five youngmen ; Ndubuisi Chidiebere, Emmanuel Orji, Kelechi Okoro, Mmaduchi Okeke and Emmanuel Arinzechukwu who took the risked and trecked from Anambra State to Umuahia narrated to Promise Uzoma Okoro that they were disappointed that Governor Alex Otti refused meeting with them even when he arrived Government House.
They are known as the Tested Comedy group and had trecked both with their wheelbarrow from Anambra to Abia to meet Governor Alex Otti but the Governor refused meeting them.
“We were disappointed that the governor, His Excellency Dr Alex Chioma Otti, whom we waited for his arrival at government house so as to present our award to him and eventually snap one or two pictures with him, came in and snubbed us. We wouldn’t know if the act was intentional or unintentional but it was disappointing and embarrassing for him to left us in the cold and dark only to ask for the protocol team to come for the award with an envelope of #50,000″
‘As teenagers, we had no other option than to drop the award with them, take the money and immediately started our return journey to Anambra that same night .
Apart from the ugly incident that greeted us at the government house, we still maintain that we never regretted embarking on such journey and we will always do that if the need arises again” The Tested Comedy Group
