Two suspected serial killers have been apprehended by Ogun state police officers, who also claim that one of the suspects bit a police driver while trying to flee.
The suspects, identified as Esube and Osunmuyiwa, were apprehended on Sunday, August 6, along the Papalanto axis of the Lagos-Abeokuta express road, according to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola. One locally-made pistol that was loaded with cartridges was also discovered on them.
The suspects, who were riding an unregistered motorcycle, were flagged down by a police patrol team led by Inspector Sunday Adeyemo, but they refused to stop, according to Odutola. Omowunmi Fiyakola was a passenger when the suspects were pursued and detained, according to Odutola.
She added that the suspect has admitted to stealing the unregistered Bajaj motorcycle and has identified himself as a member of a renown fraternity. She declared that he would face legal charges for murder, theft, and gun possession.
