Five Things You Don’t Know About Armed Lagos Policeman Assaulted By Civilian

Assistant superintendent of police Sunday Erhator has been getting commendations for his professional conduct and restraint when assaulted by a traffic offender Victor Ebhomenyen in the Oniru area of Lagos State over the weekend.

Mr Erhator was hosted by the governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday at the Lagos House, Ikeja. The policeman, the governor said, should be a role model for law enforcement officers in the discharge of their duties.

Also, some Nigerians on social media have raised about N500,000 to compensate the officer over his conduct.

While the reckless driver Ebhomenyen is in police custody, his accomplice Etinosa Obaywana is at large.

Below are five things you didn’t know about Erhator:

Erhator is a native of Edo State.
He is a Christian.
The cop is a father of three – two daughters and one son.
He joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1992.
He works with the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command.
