The National Assembly on Monday passed the 2021 budget, increasing it by N505 billion.
The legislature’s move raised the proposed budget estimate of N13.082 trillion to N13.588 trillion.
President Muhammadu Buhari submitted N13.082 trillion budget to the National Assembly on October 8.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan had said that the lawmakers would pass the budget this week.
The 2021 budget is christened the budget of economic recovery and resilience aimed at accelerating the pace of Nigerian economic recovery, promote diversification, enhance competitiveness, and ensure social inclusion.
