See What Happened To The Parody Account After Police Disclaimed It (Pixs)

Hours after the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), called out a parody Twitter account which disseminates tweets that appear to represent views of the force and also warned Nigerians not to follow the account and those who already followed it to unfollow the account, the account’s has gained over 10, 000 followers, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the parody account before the Nigerian Police called it out via it official Twitter account was having 8,000 followers. Hours after being called out, the account gain more fame and followers.

The parody account started making waves recently with a string of viral posts making fun of misconducts by officers of the Force, especially regarding bribe-taking and extortion.

The account has a disclaimer in its description stating that it doesn’t represent the views of the NPF.
