Borno National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting in Nyanya, has dismissed a suit challenging the election of Senator Ali Ndume as winner of Borno South Senatorial District election.
The tribunal dismissed the petition on Monday which was filed by Kudla Satumari of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Igbere TV reports.
Also listed as respondents in the petition were the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Satumari, had in a petition dated March 15, claimed that the election was marred by corrupt practices and non-compliance with provisions of the Electoral Act.
