A renowned Nigerian business mogul cum philanthropist, Chief Alex Ikwechegh, today, start the fulfillment of his promise to distribute free petrol and kerosene, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reported earlier that the philanthropist announced activities marking his birthday which holds on Sunday Aug. 25.
The Alex Ikwechegh Foundation management in a statement sent to Igbere TV said that activities marking the former Aba North Council Chairman’s birthday include visitation to Orphanages and free distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
The breakdown of the activities to mark the former Aba North Council Chairman’s birthday goes thus; Saturday Aug 24 — Visit to Orphanages, Prisons and Hospitals
Distribution of fuel and kerosene across Aba Eyinba city in the following filling stations:
Uche Everest Filling Station — Ugoyah
Tony Max Filling Station — Okigwe Road
Easy Oil Filling Station — East by Ngwa road
Bobby Oil — Nmoba road
Cruizy Oil — Fox road by Seven Deck, Aba.
In a live video obtained by our correspondent, true to his word, the philanthropist have began the distribution of free petrol and kerosene as Abia Indigenes were seen at one of the filling station mention above.

Ikwechegh, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia, has always been in the news for the good owing to his benevolence in awarding scholarships and donating freely to orphanages.
Alex Ikwechegh Foundation was the first non-governmental organization to visit the woman whose fingers were cut off by Fulani Herdsmen in Abia. He had generously footed her medical bills back then, Igbere TV reports.
