President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday charged Ministers Designate that Nigerians have great and quick expectations from his administration.
He spoke at the Presidential Retreat for the Ministers Designate in Abuja.
He noted that the majority of Nigerians are poor and hoping for a better life, Igbere TV reports.
While the Ministers Designate are expected to be inaugurated on Wednesday, the President said that the retreat was the beginning of their work.
According to him, it was the responsibility of the government to meet the great needs of the people.
He also said that the incoming Ministers will be responsible for the implementation of agreed initiatives and that a monitoring evaluation framework will be put in place to check the performance of members.
