A housewife, Olamide Ganiyu, has said that her husband, Sikiru, is fond of bringing strange women into their matrimonial home after visiting nightclubs.
Mrs Ganiyu, on Friday, told a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, to dissolve her marriage to Sikiru on this basis.
Ganiyu, a resident of Idi-Obi area of Ibadan, Oyo State alleged that Sikiru no longer respects their union.
“He is fond of attending night clubs and bringing home strange women. He locks my children and I out of our home. He doesn’t cater for the children,” she said.
The defendant, consenting to the prayer for divorce, refused to speak on any of the accusations made by his wife.
He alleged that his wife was disobedient and that he had caught her with different charms in their home.
Court President, Ademola Odunade, granted the prayers of Ganiyu and dissolved the marriage.
Odunade awarded custody of the three children to Ganiyu and ordered Sikiru to pay a monthly allowance of N12,000 for the children’s upkeep.Share this:
