The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday approved the nomination of Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, presented by President Muhammadu Buhari as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Igbere TV reports.
The Senate President after screening of the last Ministerial Nominee put the Motion for the Approval of the Nomination of Dr Uche Ogah and others as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Senate Responded in the Affirmative.
All the other 42 nominees were also confirmed.
Igbere TV reports that President Buhari had submitted a list of 43 ministerial nominees, which was read at the Senate plenary last Tuesday.
Ogah, the 2019 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia was the first nominee to be screened on Wednesday.
