Several Togo nationals have begun protesting against President Faure Gnassigbe at Onikan, Lagos.
The protesters, some of whom arrived from Togo for the protest, want the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to come to their aid as they call for Gnassigbe to step down, Igbere TV reports.
Gnassigbe is seeking a fourth term in government after assuming power in 2005.
he protesters said on Thursday that they have been ruled by the Gnassigbe family for over 59 years.
