Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba, a close ally to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has made a public appeal to former of Abia State and Senator-elect, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu to support gov Ikpeazu’s second term ambition.
Kalu, also called ‘the game changer’ is believed to have the greatest influence in who will win the election after his sterling outing during the NASS and Presidential Election, which gave APC victory in the entire Abia North, has publicly announced his support for the APC candidate Uche Ogah.

A statement personally signed by Ufomba obtained by Igbere TV reads in full:
“In 2003, I convoked the first ever “Great Ukwa/Ngwa Declaration” at Enyimba township stadium Aba with you as beneficiary.
“The aim was to mobilize Ukwa/Ngwa support for your second term bid, help douse tension and contain the raging fire of hate and division between the peoples of our great state.
“The peace move paid off and you were reelected overwhelmingly for a second term as governor.
“One of the facilitators of the declaration then is the current Governor of the state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, who effectively coordinated Obingwa local government for me….Meaning that he supported your reelection bid and second term quest of the old bende people.
“It is on record that you neither reciprocated this noble and altruistic gesture nor did you perform the second part of the contract by supporting the emergence of Ukwa/Ngwa son as governor after your tenure in 2007.
“It is now payback time as history beckons for a redemption of your pledge and reputation and that of the old bende people. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, an Ukwa/Ngwa son seeks reelection. Equity and good conscience demands you mobilize and support the reelection of your benefactor as he did.
“A popular igbo proverb demands of those lacking in generosity to at least payback their debt.
“You owe me, Okezie Ikpeazu and the Ukwa/Ngwa people a huge electoral debt.
