There was mild drama today as members of Igbere Welfare Union, Abuja chapter visited the former Governor of Abia state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu who recently underwent a major surgery in Germany.
Kalu, who was recently rumoured to be dead and being impersonated by a lookalike body double, named George was lively and cracked local jokes with his visitors.

Speaking with Igbere TV correspondent after the visit, one of the delegates, Chief Joseph Okebe said:
“On behalf of Igbere people resident here in Abuja, I wish to thank His Excellency, our dear and illustrious son of Igbere Ebiri, OUK for the brotherly love he showered on us during our visit to his residence. God Almighty will fulfill all the prayers we offered to Him on his behalf, and we shall come together soonest, by His grace, to celebrate with him.”
