The Edo state House of Assembly has been thrown into chaos as dare devil gunmen stormed the chamber shooting sporadically, IGBERE TV reports.
The crisis was triggered by alleged moves by some lawmakers to Impeach the Speaker of the House, Hon Kabiru Adjoto and the Deputy Speaker, Victor Edoror.

A heavy fight erupted at the Assembly after the gunmen suspected to be political thugs invaded the complex, chasing away some lawmakers, and shooting sporadically.
As at the time of filing this report, three persons have been injured in the brawl, and two lawmakers of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), M. D. Igbas and Hon Iluobe were seen running for their lives with their security personnel.
