“Whatever that happens here today is even beyond me. As a party man, I have to submit myself to the will of the party members”
“I brought Ambode to the people. He performed well as a civil servant and I introduced him to the people and the party and if the party now says they want a change, so be it.”
“I consider it as an insult, the insinuation that there is a rancour between me and @AkinwunmiAmbode. I have no problem with him (@AkinwunmiAmbode). Whatever happens is a party decision and I have to respect that because I am a party man.”
IGBERE TV reports that results released so far from the exercise has seen Gov Ambode’s challenger, Mr. Jide Sanwoolu, leading with wide margin.
