A thief was almost subjected to jungle justice after he was apprehended during an operation in Edo state. According to Don Pedro, the suspect was caught around 5.am on Wednesday (two days ago) while robbing around 3 House Upper Sakponba in Benin City, the state capital.
A locally made gun was found in his possession along with other stolen items including goat/cow meat.
He was beaten by the mob and paraded with the stolen items as he begged for his life.
People who claim to know the suspect identified him as a married man with three children.
The suspect was later taken to the police station for further interrogation.
