A 2015 gubernatorial candidate of APC in Abia state, Chief Nyerere Anyim has hailed the victory and the yesterday swearing in of the state chairman of the party Hon Donatus Nwankpa, describing it as historic.

In congratulatory message made available to IGBERE TV, the APC chieftain also emphasized that the ruling party PDP in the state is in a panic mood over its impending losses.

The message reads “The yesterday swearing in of Rt.Hon Donatus Nwankpa as the Abia State chairman of APC is historic and timely. This is the beginning of the race to retire visionless leadership in the state.

” I am fully convinced that they are now fidgeting and deeply gripped in fear over the losses that await them. The PDP has not only failed to provide good governance at all levels in Abia, they have now left the people more impoverished and deprived than they met them. This we are poised to ending for the good of our people and the life of our state come 2019″.

Chief Nyerere Anyim also called on Abians to redouble their support for the party, assuring them that they will give a new testimony when APC government comes into office.
