Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived New York, United States for the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 72).
ALEDEH recalls that Mr. Buhari departed Abuja, Nigeria’s capital for New York on Sunday morning, September 17.
The President arrived New York on Monday morning, September 18, the official Twitter handle of the Presidency disclosed the development on the micro-blogging site.
The handle tweeted: ” President @MBuhari has arrived New York for the 72nd Session of the @UN General Assembly #UNGA #UNGA72“, it added.
Special Adviser to the President, Media and Publicity Femi Adeshina, had issued a statement on Saturday, saying that the high point of the President’s visit will be his participation in the General Debate during which he will deliver the country’s National Statement.
