BREAKING: Officer killed, others injured as gunmen attack Bayelsa police station

​Armed men Tuesday morning, reportedly stormed Kolo Police Station located in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The attack left a policeman dead and three others injured.

An eyewitness told Channels TV that the incident was carried out by suspected oil thieves.

The Police has ordered reinforcement to the area.

The development came two days after a similar attack occurred in Ekeremor Local Government Area of the state where a local boat owner was abducted.
