Join us Build Nigeria, it is not Too Late – Arewa Youths beg Nnamdi Kanu

The Arewa Youths Coalition (AYC) has appealed to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to join them to build Nigeria saying that it is not too late. The group made this known after it withdrew the quit notice given Igbos living in the north on Thursday.

The leader of the group Yerima Shettima maintained that it is not too late for the IPOB leader to join hands with them to build a nation that they would all be proud of. Shettima stressed that they withdrew the quit notice as a result of intervention from prominent Nigerians within and outside the country.

“We announced the quit notice out of frustration and have now relised that two wrongs cannot make a right. The Arewa youths are now pleased with the outpour of condemnations coming from Igbo leaders as well as their governors.”

”Eventhough we have not decided on the next line of action, but in the next couple of weeks and even months our body language would be siddon look. We advice the leader of the Indegenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu to take advantage of the olive branch extended to him and review his position in the interest of the country.”

“We expect him to have a rethink. It is never too late for him to join hands with us in building a nation we would all be proud to call our own.”
