The Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu hereby draw the attention of men and women of goodwill and conscience around the world over the continuous brutal killings of Biafrans in Anambra state under the watchful eyes of Willie Obiano.
On 16th August, 2017 a group of IPOB members was patiently waiting for the arrival of their Supreme Leader, Mazi Nnamdi kanu on a proposed visit to Ekwulobia Anambra state when a group of Nigeria security agents comprised of Army, Police, and Navy suddenly surrounded the area and started shooting tear gas and live bullets to scare off Biafrans from the place and in their usual manner, they killed three IPOB members in cold blood by order of Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris and the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Yusufu Buratai.
The continuous killing of Biafrans in their land especially in Anambra is becoming worrisome and unbearable under the governorship of Willie Obaino.
The number of Biafrans missing and killed in Anambra outnumbered the whole of other Biafra states. Obiano has demonstrated time without number that he cannot be trusted to protect lives of Biafrans in Anambra because Biafrans decided to boycott the Anambra state election come 18th November 2017 until a date is given to us for a referendum.
Furthermore, Obiano and his conspirators would have devise a better means to engage Biafrans in reasoning and common sense why they should vote in Nigeria election instead they choose to kill, kidnap and arrest IPOB members in Anambra, even to the extent that when terrorist acts are committed against Biafrans in their place of worship by his conspirators he chooses to call it drug war and armed robbery case. Obiano you cannot beat a child and ask him not to cry. Biafrans have decided to boycott the Anambra election to avoid your conspirators from killing more Biafrans on that election date.
The issue is that you have no better agenda for Biafrans in Anambra rather you want to remain in power to make sure you continue to loot the Anambra state monthly Federal Allocation. Since you have become a serial killer or a cutthroat, Biafrans have made their choice and you cannot do anything about that. Under your watchful eyes, our people have been killed on 30th August 2015 during evangelism at Onitsha head bridge, others killed on 30th May 2016, a couple of days ago our people were massacred in Ozubulu, also in Assemblies of God church and now in Ekwuluobia. How can you convince us that you are innocent of all these killings? and you have never shown any remorse instead you are still on a mission to kill more Biafrans just for a political seat.
Our question to Willie Obiano; what is your benefits for killing your sons and daughters because they want freedom and their own sovereign state?, I put it very clear to you that you are causing more harm than good to yourself because, in the end, Biafrans shall win. We have chosen the peaceful way to seek for freedom.
The right for Self-determination is a cardinal principle in the modern international law and is binding in United Nations, UN, resolution. It states clearly “that people based on respect for the principle of equal rights and fair equality of opportunity have the right to freely choose their sovereignty state must be respected”.
Biafrans must be governed only by their own consent and that is why we have chosen to boycott the election. Therefore, stop killing Biafrans with your Nigeria security conspirators, remember the gentleness of the lion should not be mistaken for cowardice. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB have decided to keep their head held high and smile in the pursuit for freedom.
Biafrans shall express themselves by boycotting the election come 18th Nov 2017 and be assured that those who have killed our people because of “one Nigeria” shall die one piece at a time.
Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are on a divine mission, death cannot kill their names
