Biafrexit: See What A British Scholar Wrote About Igbo, Yoruba & Fulani

Read well, one would understand why Britain didnt like the igbos and saw the Igbos as a threat to their hegemony in Nigeria and made sure they handed Nigeria to the fulanis. It took them 40yrs to bring igboland under their control, We fought their exploitation during Aba women riot, again we led other Nigerians to an anti colonial control that gave birth to Nigeria’s independence. then again the civil war and till present IPOB is up again.

They igbos were at the forefront of Nigeria’s independence than any other ethnic group.. forget all the noise of cowards parading themselves as founding fathers. They only true founding father Nigeria had was Azikiwe. The north never wanted Nigeria’s Independence, They yorubas were in the middle.

These are the same yorubas who will tell you igbos are not united but as you can see they yorubas are the most disunited groups in Nigeria, thet is why Illorin is still in the hands of the fulani, they cant come together to fight a struggle.

Yorubaland was the easiest to conquer by the Britain. Big thanks to Britain. if not, lagos would have been taken by the Fulani too…

Again, i can remeber an argument on yorubas being in the north more than the igbos on this thread, http://www.nairaland.com/3738483/most-technicians-kano-south-while. They always mock igbos for being killed in the north because they are much and they are not so much in the north, but all of a sudden they are in the north because Emir sanusi said technicians in the kano are from the south Double faced people.

Igbo detractors always say Igbos are not a united people but history has always proven that as false because in Nigeria, igbos are the only group of people who stood strong against colonial oppression. from calabar riot to the
