anytime i read about Nigeria’s history i always see more reason to blame Azikiwe for the present day igbo problems…

yes his one Nigeria stand was premised on the need for a bigger market but he should have read the hand writting on the wall. Igbo were been rejected in the north because they saw Igbos as a threat to their religious cultural and economic control.

Again they yorubas were easy going but were jealous and also felt threatened by Igbo sheer power of organization, unity and cohesion which they don’t have
