Indigenous People of Biafra and Nigerian Army fought on Monday, 24 July along Enugu-Abakailiki express way.
The problem started when Nigerian Army stopped the convoy of IPOB members going to Ebonyi State Capital to see their leader, Nnamdi Kanu who brought Abakailiki to a halt as thousands of residents left their businesses to catch a glimpse of the controversial separatist leader.
Some members IPOB confronted the Army when they refused them from entering the State capital but after much negotiations with the combined team of military personnel, they were allowed to enter Ebonyi state.
