The All Progressives Congress, APC, has been placed off balanced after reports of the emergence of a new party, called, Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance, APDA, launched by the founder of Daar Communications and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Raymond Dokpesi, alongside other notable politicians.
The event which held at the Reiz Continental Hotel in Abuja, on Monday May 5th, 2017 has former Chairman of the Labour Party, LP, Dan Anyanwu, in attendance.
The party which has the slogan “Stronger Together,” has one Shitu Kabiru as its Interim National Chairman with the National Executive Committee of the party yet to be constituted.
Following the leadership crisis that bedeviled the PDP, insinuations in certain quarters, have it that some aggrieved members of the party were plotting to float a new political party.
TM News, gathered that the party was formed with the view of welcoming aggrieved members of the APC, chief amongst all is the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki who might in coming weeks, decide to decamp to the party.
It was also learnt that the new party constitues members of the APC and PDP in all different political structures in the country who are yet to openly declare their membership, with the aimed of defeating APC at the centre come 2019 for failing to meet the yearnings of the people.
