BREAKING!!! Democracy Day: Tragedy Strikes in Owerri, Chief of Staff Joins to Rescue Victims (Photos)

Another tragedy has struck in Owerri, the capital of Imo state as Nigerians mark 2017 Democracy Day. Just this morning, as Ugwumba Uche Nwosu was heading out for the day’s assignment which include the big event of the Democracy Day, he ran into an accident scene at Ochiedike Roundabout. The Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government, Ugwumba Nwosu had to interrupt some official assignments in order to assist some passengers who were involved in what appears to be a ghastly automobile accident.

According to a report from Nwadike Chikezie, the Social Media aide to the Chief of Staff, the youthful Chief aide to the Imo State Governor, who is popularly addressed as Ugwumba worldwide, was on his way to a crucial state function, but had to stop by to attend to the accident victims. The accident involved two buses,one carrying women mostly traders somersaulted as seen  in the picture.

After he had personally supervised the evacuation of the accident victims to the ultra-modern Ochiedike Diagnostic and Dialysis Center, he instructed the hospital staff to ensure that they are given adequate and emergency attention.

He expressed joy that no life was lost and charged motorists to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, and also ensure that they are lucid enough before taking on the wheels.
