Information reaching from Federal High Court No 1 Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State has it that Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu has just delivered judgement In Bright Chimezie fundamental right application and Other Biafran activists filed against the Federal republic of Nigeria’s State Security Service known as SSS .
After listening to Bar Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the Applicant’s Counsel moved the application and extensive argument, the court ordered the immediate release of Bright Chimezie and accordingly awarded N5million Naira Damages against the State Security Service for the illegal arrest of Bright Chimezie Since 14th day of October 2016,and his continued detention.
Order is about to be enrolled.
