JUST IN!!! Documents Reveal Owner Of Lagos Flat With N15bn

Riddles posed by the loud silence of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over the ownership of about N15billion and the house where it was hidden in Lagos have now been solved.

After several names have been dropped and debunked in some newspaper reports, the jigsaw puzzle began to fall into place as sources close to the investigation released bits of information pointing to the owner of Flat 7B at 16, Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, and those who kept the money there.

“It’s a family affair,” says one of the sources.

Latest information received by Newsmakersng that first published the story on April 12 is that a document has shown that the house was bought by a business enterprise known as Thabi Ventures Ltd.

The document further reveals the alleged owner of the venture as one Folashade Oke, whose email and phone number on the document are folashadeoke@yahoo.com, 08059833410.

Further investigations unmasked the said Folashade Oke as the wife of the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Mr Ayodele Oke.

The NIA boss allegedly showed up at the EFCC’s office in Abuja on April 13, when the wife was arrested and quizzed.

He later claimed that the money belonged to the NIA, and that it was meant for a covert operation.

Mrs Oke did not pick her calls nor reply to a text message that Newsmakersng editors sent to her.

The source also confirmed the discovery of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign posters and flyers used in the last presidential election inside the house.

According to the source those who have questions to answer concerning the money found in the house included the former Aviation minister, Senator Stella Oduah, who was at a time the Director of Administration and Finance for Jonathan’s campaign and also the coordinator of the Neighbour to Neighbour campaign organisation that took much credit for Jonathan’s 2011 Presidential election victory.

Another person of interest is Mr Godsday Orubebe, a former Minister of Special Duties, who served as the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs under Jonathan.

Oduah, who once weathered the storm of controversy over the purchase of two armoured BMW car at a cost of N160million in 2013, is now a Senator representing Anambra State.

Also mentioned is Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, a former governor of Bauchi State, who later served as National Working Committee chairman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
