The P0rn You See Today And The Struggle That Comes After (Photos)

Today’s porn teaches it’s users to think only about body parts and specific sexual actions, twisting their minds and equally robbing them of the ability to experience romance, passion, and emotional and physical attachment with a real partner. It competes with partners as a sexual outlet.

Those who experience porn-related problems say that the ready availability of pornography on the Internet and other electronic devices is at least partially responsible for their pornography addiction.

Some decades ago, getting your hands on pornography required time, money, and effort. This days, it only takes time, money, and effort to get away from porn. With unsolicited e-mails, deceptive links, and pop-up windows, porn can make its way into our lives whether we want it to or not. A man said, “You no longer have to go looking for porn, porn is looking for you!”

Porn today, reaches an unprecedented number of people of all ages and from all walks of life. And it reaches them 365 days a year, 24/7. In Nigeria alone, a quite large number of individual visit porn sites at least once a month. Some might visit for a couples of minutes at a time, while others cling to it all day long. A whopping 25 percent of all daily Internet search engine requests and 35 percent of all downloads are for pornography.

The male folks are the most users of pornos ( at least 75–85 percent), recently the number of females using porn has scaled up in recent years. Adolescents have become one of the largest consumer groups of porn. This early contact with pornos, is the more reason why people are getting hooked faster, more seriously, and in greater numbers than ever before.

Porn affects the user’s inner life (the relationship he has with himself), as well as the interactions he has with his partner and other family members. Regular porn use often interferes with a person’s ability to maintain good self-esteem and experience mutually fulfilling sexual intimacy with a partner. Dealing with pornography is not solely
about stopping a behavior or overcoming an addiction. It also involves reclaiming a sense of personal integrity and manifesting attitudes and behaviors that promote healthy sexual intimacy.

Back in the 1980s, X-rated videos and pornographic stories were places recommended for married couples to help them become more intimate with each other.

Pornography which actually meant to help married couples become more sexually intimate with each other, has tuned it’s focus towards arousing the viewer to have a sexual relationship with it. In the early days, erotic videos, magazines, and books that were produced to help spice up lovemaking for couples, porn began to offer itself as the object of desire to it’s user.

Using x-rated materials often deals with high levels of dishonesty and secrecy, those caught up in the act either by loved ones often feel isolated, ashamed, depressed, morally compromised, and in rare cases, attempt suicide.

Some porn users will tell you, how porn has led them into illegal and risky activities, as viewing child pornography, having unprotected sex, having prostitutes, and viewing porn at work. Many of clients assert that they were unable to stop using pornography even when they are aware of the dangerous consequences it had on their lives.
