A security officer, Mr Chidi Onyenekwu who worked with Imo security network lost his life during a security operation due to a mistake made by one of his colleagues.
According to Mr Ugonna Chiji Achuko who shared the incident on Facebook, the colleague of the deceased had shot some bullets upward but failed to return the trigger when he brought down his rifle; thereby, releasing the remaining bullets on the chest of the deceased.
This incident calls for severe training of security personnel before being given a gun to handle.
