JUST IN!!! SE Governors Charged to Back IPOB Over Biafra

By: Mazi Onyebuchi Eze

Dear South-East Governors,

JOIN YOUR BROTHER IN DEMAND FOR BIAFRA RESTORATION OR RISK LOSING YOUR RESPECTS

It is with total humility and undivided respect to the mandate of votes of Biafran people which was the ladder upon which you, the South-East Governors ascended to your exalted political offices, that I, Mazi Onyebuchi Eze, a Biafran activist of Family Writers Press (FWP) of Indigenous People of Biafra, wish to write this open letter to you people.

Your Excellency Sirs, in a news broadcast telecasted by Channels Television which I personally monitored in Nnewi Biafraland in the weekend, I saw you people’s resolution in your Forum meeting which held in Enugu and presided over by Gov Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, that the Forum will meet with President Muhammadu Buhari and beg him to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who has been kept in unlawful detention even against court verdicts ordering his release since October 14, 2015. Well, it is good to tell you people that any move or political persuasion to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu or other Biafrans who are presently extra-judicially held in detention could be a welcome development to onlookers but it is good to understand that Nnamdi Kanu is not just demanding for only his release but at the same time the restoration of Biafra which is the prime reason for his detention.

Your Excellency Sirs, I want to let you people know that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is by his demand for the restoration of Biafra which is the unanimous desire of the people of Biafra, giving Biafrans the representation which you people were voted by the people to do for them but you people denied them the needed representation out of cowardice. May I let you people know that if you people actually view yourselves as political leaders of the people, you must be ready to defend the interest including the collective desires of the people before anybody whether within or outside Biafraland. That interest is the restoration of Biafra.

Your Excellency Sirs, I may not dwell much longer on your position as political leaders in Biafraland because the process of selecting leaders of the people which brought you people into offices is alien to Biafran people. It is alien to our culture because it supposed to be the gods of our land with the confirmation of our ancestors that Kings of the people are selected before the advent of the alien feudalistic political system. But it was a feudalistic political system which British enthroned and managed by the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy in Nigeria, which is alien to Biafran culture that produced you people as leaders. Therefore, Sirs, I do not blame you people that much when you are cynical, negligent and less concerned in the plight of Biafrans in Nigeria federation but completely blames the then Great Britain which destroyed the process of selecting leaders which our people inherited from our ancestors and the said British enthroned a feudalistic political process which is alien to our noble people.

Your Excellency Sirs, it is on this ground that I hereby wish to make you people know that it is either you people, the Governors of South-East joins our people to demand for the restoration of Biafra or you people stand to loose the respect and support of the people in Biafraland and as well be marked as arch enemies of the people. Although, the process which made you people leaders over us were purely alien to our culture but the fact that our people were mandated to vote during the feudalistic elections meant that you people are in a social contract with us by holding a mandate which we gave you people through our votes during the elections. By that mandate, you people are not sitting in those offices to represent your personal interests but the collective interest of the people which voted for you people during the past elections.
Your Excellency Sirs, if you people can remember vividly, it was the personal desire of David Cameron that Britain remain in that EU just as you people want Biafra to remain in Nigeria due to selfish interest, but his desire did not supersedes the collective desire of British populace which voted for David Cameron as they demanded Brexit, and David Cameron resigned because he said that he cannot be ruling people who have different desire from his. So, I am of opinion that if the Governors of Biafraland do not want BiafraExit which is the collective desire of the people of Biafra, let them do like David Cameron by resigning their offices, after all it is the same alien political system which produced David Cameron that also produced the Governors.

Sirs, I look forward to see my advice reflect on your activities in forum.

Yours Faithfully,

Mazi Onyebuchi Eze
