Stop Blaming Me for Your Woes, Cant' Kill Myself for You - Buhari to Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to be part of the process of changing the country rather than unnecessarily criticizing his government’s effort aimed at moving the country forward.
He said, “One of the problems we are having in this country is that people don’t appreciate efforts made by my government as if they want the government to fail. We did not vote ourselves to power. We are in power because Nigerians trusted and voted for us. If we must succeed therefore, we will need the support and cooperation of all Nigerians.
“We have made serious efforts since the inception of this administration on the fight against corruption in our public life, and improving security in the country. Although we still have a long way to go in improving things in the country, but the point is that we are making progress which Nigerians must learn to appreciate.
“There is the need for attitudinal change, and change of our mindset as a people who want the country to succeed. Instead of engaging in an unnecessary criticism of government, Nigerians must not also forget that they also have a role to play. If we want to see change, then we must change our negative mindsets as a people,” he said.
