Transportation has become easier more and more people can move without restriction. Rail transport, sea transport, aviation has received huge impact from the advances. Anyone can easily travel and distances that tooks years in the 18th and early 19th century takes just a few hours, light high speed bullet trains can cover distances in just 45minutes it would take trains in 1950 to cover in 3 hours. More time is saved and efficiency is a by-product.
But without ad revenue, we wouldn't even be here. And we might not be here much longer.
