BREAKING!!! Amaechi Loses His Senatorial District to PDP

ex Governor Rotimi Amaechi has lost his Senatorial District in the Saturdays Rerun Election in Rivers State as INEC declares Sekibo of PDP winner.

Senator Thompson George, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rivers East senatorial district, has been declared winner of the conclusive Legislative election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The results announced by the collation officer so far indicated that APC polled 34,193 votes, LP scored 230, NNPP scored 65 and PDP 93,098.
